Art Deco
In the 1930s Noritake China was in its heyday,
there were fabulously patterned oilcloths used as inexpensive floor
covering. There were beautiful furniture designs and architecture,
recognisable by it's clean design. These Art Deco machine Embroidery
designs were inspired by this very stylized Art Deco Period.

Primitive Sampler,
Here are the components for a selection of
primitive folk-art samplers. Simply use your imagination and your
creativity to compose a sampler using early American colours,
unbleached cotton and a teabag.

This idea came to me as I was designing a quilt
for my niece, she is English, and marrying a Scot. My other half is
a Welshman we also have some Irish in the melting pot. Common to us
all, are the sheep and hedgerows. All fit the 4" hoop.
